Nothing to say about jewelry today, but there's a Vincent Price movie marathon on TCM tomorrow! I'm so excited I could just plotz!
I can't begin to explain it, but I have an unholy love for Vincent Price. The best movies are the ones that follow this format...
1: For some reason or another, everybody thinks Vincent Price is dead.
2: Vincent Price "comes back from the dead" to avenge himself.
3: Vincent Price systematically bumps people off according to a theme. Sometimes it it is related to his character, sometimes it isn't. Killing people in a Shakespearean fashion makes sense in "Theatre of Blood" But I can't begin to explain the plagues of Egypt theme in "The Abominable Dr. Phibes"
4: The virtuous detective catches Vincent Price in the end, with an appropriately suspenseful last minute rescue of his last victim.
Watch some Vincent Price films, and you too can experience all the formulaic but stylish wonderment!
