About

Alison Lesniak is an independent artist, teacher, and jeweler. Alison graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in studio art, and completed her teacher's certification at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2009.

Alison's pieces are handcrafted with love in her home studio using a combination of age-old techniques and new materials. She specializes in enamels set in handcrafted settings and etched copper pieces including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, and brooches.

Alison believes in doing her part to protect the environment.  She uses recycled materials whenever possible, purchasing sheet and wire from a company that refines its own silver using environmentally responsible practices, and using precious metal clay composed of reclaimed silver.  She also uses packaging materials made with recycled paper as much as possible.

In addition to making jewelry, Alison creates original artwork in pastel, watercolor, and ink. Alison's artwork features stylized botanical motifs and vivid colors.
