Now that I've finally found a good etching resist pen for electrolytic etching, I will have copper beads regularly available in my shop again. I'm really glad to be able to offer these again, because I love making things for other crafters to use in their work. And who doesn't love a great big chunky bead?

Hi Alison. Do you mind sharing what resist pen you are using? I do a fair amount of electrolytic etching too, and I've not found a pen that holds up to the etching process 100%, but use liquid acrylic paint (that takes time to dry etc). A pen I can trust to do the job would be much easier. Would be intereste in knowing what you have found to work!
Hi Marie,
I use the DecoColor paint pen shown in the previous post. I should add that I do my etching with a D Battery, so I don't know whether or not it would stand up to a higher current. Good luck!
Sorry, I noticed that when I continued reading your blog just after posting that comment :) Will definitely try to get my hands on one of these pens and give it a go...

No problem ;)
I got mine at my local craft store, but I've seen that Dick Blick has them too.
